DIRECT ASSISTANCE
Utility Assistance
► Financial aid is available to qualified
individuals and families for utilities, etc. This aid is provided in
emergency situations once a year.
Food Pantry
► Provides food for individuals and
families in need once very 30 days.
Prescription Program
► Prescriptions from a doctor are filled
at a selected location for qualified individuals and families.
Back-To-School
► Provides school supplies in August for
needing families
Undy Sunday
► Provides underwear to school-aged
children in need. Donations to the program are collected Sundays in August.
Holiday Food and Gift
Programs
► Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners are
donated from the community and given to qualified families. Community
members also adopt families at Christmas to provide gifts.
REFUGEE AND IMMIGRANT ASSISTANCE
Refugees Employed And
Productive (REAP)
► This program connects with prospective
employers and matches resettled refugees to appropriate full-time job
opportunities with benefits. This program
is designed to assist refugees toward self-sufficiency.
Other Programs

Other refugee services are designed to help qualified individuals with
needed legal documents,
referral to ESOL
classes, and career advancement. Many of the refugee services cover Collier
and Lee
Counties
Refugee Resettlement
► Coordinates placement of refugees with
their sponsoring families/person. Call 455-2655 for more information.
